“Now let me welcome everybody to the wild, wild west
A state that’s untouchable like Elliot Ness
…”

What better way to follow some Tupac lyrics than with a picture of some dope g-parents. The main reason we came: Sara’s g-pa’s 80th birthday, accompanied by his lovely bride.

The reason we were able to come. My awesome in-laws. Notice the cream George is holding? Sara and Jeremiah used to shake these in hopes that they would make butter.

Not a very good picture, but a very very good meal. My Aunty Naomi (far left) treated us to the bueno-est Mexican food at the Kool Kactus Cafe. Also in the picture, Robyn, Tait, Kevin, Amanda, Sara, and my Amigo burrito plate. I am currently drooling.

Some of the cool critters we saw: The giant orangutan who was having a bad day. Pizza, the cutest kitten ever. Hungry hungry meerkats enjoying their daily meat product.

Sara at San Juan Capistrano. No swallows around, but we did spend the day with Holly, Nathan, Leanne, Kevin, and Amanda.

An awesome chance to celebrate, meet new family, reconnect with family and friends, eat lots of good food, and do some sightseeing. California. Like Tupac, I highly recommend it.
