24/52: Eleven for Elliot

June 10, 2014

The son is so close to one year old that he can almost feel the cake crumbs in his hair. In the past month he has learned to get from point A to point B through a non-crawl of rolls, scoots, and flops. Like a tree planted by the water, he is not easily moved. However, he will potentially change his position for Puffs.

He is also smiling more and occasionally shakes his head or waves his tiny hands on request. Yes, this wild chlid is a real heartful.

Enjoyed watching this so much! Such a sweet, smiley boy. Love how he gets to those puffs. Very unique.

  2. Debbie Says:

You: Did you see the 11-month post I put up?
Me: “Yep. It was good. I just didn’t take the time to comment on it.”

What might have helped, would have been if you had said, “How did you like the video?” What a dork I am! I read the text in e-mail, thought, “how sweet.” Never saw the video until THIS MORNING! Actually, George was on his iPad, I asked what the Enya was about, he said, “I’m watching Elliot.” Elliot?!?!

Anyway, it is truly great! I really really need that little puff-chaser to come clean my floor! You know how to make a Granny need to hug those little bugs!

What a busy life E leads. Rolling, being transported in his chariot, playing tag with sister and his athletic mommy, foraging for dinner, and perfecting his clapping and waving skills. Love it all!

  3. George Says:

Ohhhh! I had seen the post but missed this video. What a precious baby boy. I loved the whole thing but the fast-motion puff-chasing sequence was brilliant and Elliot’s execution was flawless. The closing sequence with the shy wave and smile just slays this grandpa’s heart. And Enya, a stroke of genius. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your beautiful children with us, Ronn.
